Amanda Holden baby joy, is just what she needed!

You can't help but feel sorry for Amanda Holden. Her life over the last couple of years just seems to have been filed with tragedy after tragedy.
Her first born Lexi, came after doctors had to put her through an emergency Caesarean, she lost a child just weeks before her Britain's got talent duties in 2010 and of course last February her son was stillborn when she was 7 months pregnant. It seemed her wish to extend her family just wasn't meant to be, and when she fell pregnant again we were all hoping she wouldn't be put through another physically and mentally exhausting ordeal.

This time round the birth was a success. she is now the proud mother of Baby Hollie Rose - who was born on Monday by Caesarean section at a London hospital, but even though successful, she was immediately put on a respirator in a special care unit.

She weighed in at 6lb 1oz and was said to be 'healthy'.

Even this birth wasn't a walk in the part, owing to the fact Amanda was reportedly in a "critical condition" 3 days prior to the birth of her daughter, including the mother-of-two needing several emergency blood transfusions after coming close to death while giving birth to her second daughter.
To add further worry, a friend told the papers that: 'Amanda nearly died. It was a life threatening situation. There was a huge loss of blood.'

I sincerely wish Amanda a speedy recovery and wish her and her beautiful new daughter well. Amanda shall be filled with Joy and just needs I'm sure a few grapes and a sleep to get back to full health! Ignore the fact she was supposed to be on a tacky television programme, that shall go on regardless... let's just hope she puts all her remaining focus and energy on her new addition to the family, after all this is what she has needed for such a long time!
