How saddened I was to hear the news of the former pop legend Robin Gibb and his battle with one of the worst types of cancer possible.
Gibb hasn’t yet confirmed this himself and simply just said that he had been “very unwell.”
I saw Robin on the TV just a month ago and he looked so frail, delicate and quite frankly a sight which made you think of him back in his hayday with hits such as “Stayin Alive.” Gibb wrote on his public blog to assure his fans of his progression, the 61 year-old sensation said:
"I wish to thank my family, friends and fans and the many thousands of people who do not know me but have enjoyed Bee Gees music and have wished me well. I am very touched by your love, kindness and support.

"This concern from people all over the world has demonstrated the depth of feeling and love that the Bee Gees have achieved over the years. It is humbling and I take your prayers and good wishes for my health very seriously. "I have been very unwell and am now on the road to recovery, and your prayers and wishes are a great tonic to me. I believe because of you I will get well and my deepest love goes out to you all. Robin."

I wish Robin a speedy recovery, he doesn’t seem the type of guy who is very good at resting as even just months ago he was still trying to promote his charity single whilst in desperate need of bed rest and medication. Let us hope than another music singing sensation isn’t taken from the world when he still has plenty of talent yet to show to the world.
