How smug, insanely happy & thrilled I am this week. Why? No more blazing hot days, my Winter clothing has surfaced to the front of my wardrobe, the jumpers have been brushed down... and quite frankly I am in my element! gone, are those dreadful few days of nothing but intense sun rays and observing people plodding along in their floral shorts, sandals with no socks and their ever so milk bottle like legs. Luckily, it seems they can be hidden away under layers of clothing as this week we have finally experienced some good old winter weather! of course as I have mentioned previously, I am certain that not all of you are wallowing in my happiness along with me... but what I can assure you is, winter is here to stay I’m afraid! The high energy bills are set to delight us at the start of each day by them dropping through our letter boxes and be prepared to sharply turn the central heating knob onto “On!” but do not despair! think of the good things about winter... hopefully you can think of many yourselves and that I am not being too incredibly naive! let us all smile at the British Gas advert when they promise us “huge savings” take it with a pinch of salt, allow life to resume in its own sweet way, pop on a few layers, indulge in a hot chocolate and dig out your 100% woollen blankets, bliss!

Topic wise This Week, I discuss the 10 year Dale Farm saga which came to an end this week and how I brand it "ridculous" that the travelling community have been able to live there illegally for the last 10 years. Debt collectors have been banned from searching Facebook & Twitter for the people that owe them money... is that a good thing? do Debt collectors and agencies need to symphaise and have confidentiality? or is it simply they have a job to do? A new phononemon called "Drunkorexia" is apparent amongst young women today. They are skipping meals to save caleroies for alcohol filled evenings to "fit in" should this be the case in today's society? I again declare my own personal thoughts on alcohol and respond to my previous backlash of being criticised for "not understanding." Scientists say Children's educational TV shows should come with a health warning! are the likes of Sesame Street & Bob the Builder safe for kids? & when is too much TV too bad? & staying on the children's theme, a new children's television character from the creators of Bob the Builder & Thomas the Tank Engine is to premiere on Cbeebies called "Mike The Knight" shall you be spoling your kids & purchasing the merchandise which goes along with the programme? as the new show promises to be the next big thing!
