What a week! I am firstly struggling to believe that we are approaching the half way point of October, are we all prepared for this “severe winter” everybody is talking about? if not then I wouldn’t worry just focus on Halloween instead! I am waiting for my house to be turned into something from the Vampire Diaries as every year my mum seems to go a little overboard in turning our desirable lounge into something which Count Dracula himself would be proud of, I may even post a pic on here so watch this space! I have been cherishing moments to myself this week, I find my creative juices get well and truly flowing when I am in my own company with nobody else to disturb... that is indeed when I get those rare moments! I have to be in a particular state of mind if I want to socialise, if I don’t feel like opening my mouth and swapping pleasantries with fellow members of society then I jolly well shan’t. Anyway, I am doing people a favour as when I do converse with others I do like to ensure I give everybody 100% attention and effort into the conversation, if I am not in the mood however you shall simply have to deal with a few grunts! I shall be in a particularly good mood when these so called blizzards set in as you all know by now... I am hoping I have put my Summer gear away for the final time in 2011, I do not want any further unwelcome surprises of heat waves in the near future, I am putting all trust into the met office!

Topic wise This Week, I discuss how a think-tank has revealed that nearly a fifth (18%) of over 75 year olds feel lonely and interested, especially as now the Winter is beginning to settle in. Do we all do enough in looking after elderly relatives and even neighbours? I discuss my thoughts & how when listening to Vanessa Felt'z radio show an 81 year old lady called Sonia phoned in and stated she is "Waiting to Die". TV chef Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall this week said that "puppy meat is no worse than a pork chop" I state my thoughts on the issue and how I think MR Fearnley-Whittingstall shall have lost credibility by his Vegitarian following. A survery has revealed that Women prefer buying Handbags to shoes as it gives them more of a "Thrill!" do you Ladies agree? & I wonder whether Men get the same feeling when buying a piece of boyish technology!
