After acquiring a new Woolly jumper from my father which he has never worn, I thought I had it made! how pleased I was when my dad rummaged through his wardrobe and presented me with this jumper which had been neatly folded and forgotten about! I am rather a fashion ambassador if I do say so myself and it certainly is in fashion! hand made, traditional coloured stripes and quite frankly makes you as snug as a bug!
Nothing better than burying yourself in a thick woollen fabric as the winter sets in! Not only that but of course I haven’t even had to pay for it, imagine my excitement as I put it on for the first time... the perfect fit! As I wore it for the first time this week, I had my head held up high and proudly showing off my new found attire! Not too long after however I suddenly developed the sniffles, one after another until I seemingly lost control of my own bodily functions with breathing difficulties following, then a sore throat and to finish with... a slight rash began to form on my neck, I’m allergic to the blasted thing! I am an Asthmatic since being a young child and quite clearly my new woollen pride and joy doesn’t agree with me! Since I love it so much however I shall continue to wear it, I am ever so hopeful due to the fact that a couple of those mentioned symptoms have now disappeared... other than the sneezing and slight wheezing! So no matter how much I may sneeze, wheeze or cry with frustration I shall be continuing to wear with pride, my new woolly jumper... I shall persist whether I feel like fainting over or otherwise, I’m not letting my lungs ruin my fashion enjoyment for goodness sake... how dare a severe medical condition dictate my life to that extent?
