Aiming to prove myself.

I always feel that there is people out there to criticise, of course expected within the world of journalism however on a personal level I feel as though I am constantly striving to prove myself to people that think I’m incapable.

I declined to go to University despite having numerous offers, one from WESTMINSTER might I add. Personally, however, I have a problem with how Universities are ran and with the definite fact that you aren’t guaranteed a job after 3 years of solid studying. I am going about my life my own sweet way, doing what I please and what I enjoy. I feel sometimes that due to my decision of not going to University or even quite simply being born without that dreaded proverbial spoon that people feel I am either not worthy, capable or clever enough!

I aim to prove the doubters wrong of course, I cannot abide University so I didn’t want to go, I am quite capable of stringing a sentence or two together and have won numerous competitions being recognised for my writing ability. Just because I don’t have a piece of A4 paper and a cap and gown does not mean I am unintelligent. I believe I have the much needed ambition and potential to get through the crazy roller coaster of life and quite honestly am looking forward to proving the doubters wrong, though of course at all times the decisions I choose shall all be for me and no one else! Many thanks to my local community of Atherton for the continued support since me joining the Atherton Online team.
