Homeaccess.org is a government initiative to get low income families online. Now, I see the irony of this post being online and so not viewable by the very people that could make use of it, but if you know somebody who would benefit, maybe you could let them know! May be a public computer I suppose... anyway, this is a bit of blurb from the website:
"If you are a low income family in receipt of certain benefits you could qualify for a grant to buy a computer and/or a minimum of one years’ Internet access. The programme is aimed at those that need it most and targets families that do not have access to a computer or the Internet at home."
