Police are appealing for witnesses after an electricity pole was cut down in Leigh.
Just before midnight on Thursday 17 February 2011, offenders used a chainsaw on the pole near to Coronation Drive.
Police Constable Mark Bingham from Leigh Neighbourhood Policing Team said: "No damage was caused to the surrounding area but we are concerned over people's safety.
"The pole carries over 100,000 volts which could seriously injure or kill someone."
