Police are appealing for the public's help to trace a missing Leigh woman.
Patricia Dearnley, 38, was last seen by her daughter when they had dinner together at a restaurant on Chapel Street, Leigh, at about 1pm on 23 February 2010.
She is currently homeless having recently left a hostel, but it is unusual for her to not contact her daughter.
On the day she was last seen, she was wearing a black jacket with a white line on the arm, denim jeans, purple trainers and a ring with 'MUM' written on it on the middle finger of her right hand.
Patricia is white, with long red hair, brown eyes, about 5ft 7in tall and of a medium build.
She suffers from asthma but is not believed to have her inhaler with her.
Police Constable Andrew Cook said: "Patricia's daughter is very worried about her mum, and is desperate for her safe return.
"I would urge anyone who knows of Patricia's whereabouts to come forward or Patricia, if you are reading or hearing this, then please get in touch and put your daughter's mind at ease."
Anyone with information should call Greater Manchester Police on 0161 872 5050.
