Police have identified the body found in the river in Wigan as previously missing John Boardman.
At 2:35pm on Wednesday 3 March 2010, police were called after the body of a man was found under the bridge on Coppull Lane.
It is believed there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death, pending a post-mortem examination.
